    Default faulty ABV?

my 4agze is only boosting max 6psi with a 165mm pulley. it used 2 boost between 10-12psi. I have checked for obvious boost leaks, and tightened my sc belt. the car drives 100% normal and holds 6psi right through the rev, its not like it starts boosting 10psi then looses boost. i have checked all vaccum lines and nothing is off. I dont know if pulling and plugging the vac line to the abv would normally do anything, but it it didnt change anything. Where the hell can can 6psi of boost go randomly, the ABV is the only thing big enough that i thought would vent this much pressure, while still making the car drive normall bar the lack of boost. i have also cleaned out my ARC top mount, which made jack difference. Also yes the abv mod has been done. the charger also has fresh oil and isn't makinig any weird noises sounds exactly the same and normal as it used 2.

help is very much appreciated as i am scratching my head here.

If you think its the ABV try removing it and blocking the hose with a large bolt or 20 cent coin etc.

ok may sound stupid, but the abv really looks cramped in there, its a corolla btw, is it possible 2 remove it with the motor in the car. keeping in mind i did recently break my arm in 5 places on my kx250

yeah you should be able to.. its only held in with some 'squeeze' type clamps. make sure you seal it up good if you decide to completely remove it. you also have to make up a plate to block off the return line just below the throttle body.
