not happy i missed it, but i spent the day at the beach
Getting a 20V put in within the month or so, so i'll definitely be competing at the next one

Thanks to the Toymods volunteers who made a good job of another dyno day.
There was some very impressive power runs - Joseph Lyovec's (sp?) Supra is damned tough.
I am very happy with the results of our 2 charges - the Corolla ran 210kw, which I find very pleasing from teh old 3T.
Kylie's Cressida made 197kw - which is up 20kw thanks to the fitting an intercooler.
YelloRolla's KE20 1/4mi = 11.32 @ 119mph @ 22psi on slicks
12.44 @ 113 mph on 165 wide street tyres
210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.
Top result there Jase...that peeshooter manifold keeps delivering the goods.
Better not improve Kylie's car too much more or you'll have to hand over the pants
Spewing to have missed the catchup chance with the syd toymodders but tyre roasting some tarmac in much cooler temps was the better choice in the end. Next time i guess, with the next round of mods.

Despite the fact that I spent almost the entire day in the shade of a big building, I still managed to get a little burnt!

Power down 13kw from last year, im hoping the blistering heat was my problem!
And our 1jz soarer ran 169kw on its first go.. expected a wee bit more, but again bloody hot!!

My legs are quite the ferrari red i didn't expect, but soon found.
That particular supra will not be forgotten easily. Raising the bar significantly for his previous record.. needless to say, i'm looking forward to 600+rwkw.
Tis my last night in Sydney. As always, i'll much enjoyed meeting everyone and finding the Toymods! scene quite the experience I desired. Coldies = VB remedy.
Cheers guys, shall re-post when I return to meh-hee-co. Thank you everyone!
James.

Hi,
Nice to see a big turn out. It was pretty hot and I was a tad concerned for the old people there, but Ray and Farky seemed to be handling it.
Any excuse to get the 25 out is a good day. I was going to dyno it, but as mentioned I was told they'd take it over 3500rpm, plus the dyno is only capable of handling around 2000hp... so, in the interests of safety, I decided to keep the old girl off the dyno.

Not to mention by the time you go there all the spots were full anyway,
We had to trun a heap of people away as by 9:30 am there were 50 cars on the list.

To take it under the 2000hp mark, you could have just taken 3 of the spark leads off and had it firing on just one pot?? this would have sneaked it under the 2000hp limit.Originally Posted by river
