Went down to the Dyno Day this morning, had a look at a few cars, met Blake and checked out his 1GGTE Celica. It was very hot down there.
Big breakfast was on too:
Cheers,

Thanks for making a very part time non member feel so welcome people. When the boss called me home (or else), I was coming an unofficial second in the N/A 2800 class. 150.7 - it made my day. I can't wait to see all the results.
cheers
Ant

The elderly brigade spent a few hours there but it got too hot for us.
River also refused to put his 25 on the dyno cause they'd have taken it past 3,500 rpm.
yeah its definatley a sorcher of a day for it.
how's it all working out though? any new records yet?
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

I just left it. Extremely hot down there, my feet were burning as i touched the pedals on the cressy. Maybe I'll actually run mine next time.
And the JZA80, wow.
Awesome day - thanks to all the officials who kept it running like clockwork.
Given the hot conditions it was great to see so many impressive cars. Stoked with my own result of 194.1kw!
great day out there.. big thanks to everyone who made it posible, especially all those who were in the dyno cell despite the heat.

Yea it was a great day, very well organised as usual, but man, sooooooo hot. My car lost plenty of power from it's last run at SAS, down 10KW, checked the 2 dyno graphs and earlier in the week the Intaks temps were 15 deg. cooler...
Did OK, the 1UZ boys have picked up the game big time! Well done to that Green Soarer with the CF bonnet making the 2800+ N/A catagory very hard to set a new record in with a very sexy sounding 194.1RWKW.
Cheers to Wayne for a drive of his car, good fun, and thanks to Dennis for a whirlwind spin around the block in his Celica That engine package he has for sale, well....it hammers!!!!
