Why can I sometimes paste a pic in a reply, but not in others?
when i reply to posts, sometimes I can paste a pic into the post and other times I can't.
I have all the posting rights.
as an example i have copied a screen dump of 'Posting Rules' to my editor [see attachment], but i can't paste it into the text of my post, whereas in this post http://toymods.net/forums/showthread...983#post288983 i was able to add pics.
anyone know why?

Have you hosted the screen dump somewhere???
or just uploading it off your pc?

The images that you posted in this post are hosted on Geocities whereas it seems your trying to post the other pic directly from your PC...Originally Posted by ta23-mbzq-nnr
If you host your images externally (www.imageshack.us or similar), then you can post up the link to the image and it will render with IMG tags either side of it!

it appears that I can post a pic if the copy is done from a web image.
it will take the img url and post that by substitution.
my local images and clipboard images won't post!
