Toyota Corona SR?

Yeah, I used to have one. It was an option pack (limited edition?) on top of either the CSi (22RE) or CS (2S-C) models. It only came in white, had a spoiler kit, ra65 rims, leather wrapped steering wheel and red pin stripe in the blue upholstry.

I have an SR spoiler on the rear of mine. To get it my uncle had to buy a boot off a guy who was wrecking an SR. Pretty sure there is only like 500 SRs floating round and they are a special edition with the 22re live rear axle models.

There is one floating round (literally on its boat like suspension) my area but looks to be in absolute rat shit condition and no you can not have my spoiler.

Does it have a superresponsive sticker in the engine bay? I had one a while back that I got for $100 but it didnt have a spoiler. Had 15" mesh wheels but they may have been aftermarket.

The Super responsive sticker has nothing to do with the SR corona, it was a generic toyota sticker stuck on almost every car in the early 80's. My sisters 4kc ke70 had one for christs sakes, super responsive errr yeah

Yeah I remember the Corona SR, the way I used to identify it was that the two black stripes across the rear lights were painted white instead.

For some reason after 20 years I can still remember the TV ad for this car, somehow it is still in my head. (I was about 13 at the time). Anyone else remember?

Nope can't say I remember it but considering my corona is older than me thats probably a good reason why . I'll keep an eye out for an SR corona parts but seriously I have only seen one SR in my time (and hey campbelltown has half of australias RT142 corona population ).

The other big problem is that the cars that are around are still intact and ppl don't seem to be wrecking them and even then its bloody hard to buy parts off them. Case in point when the rear spoiler was bought for mine all we wanted was the spoiler but the guy would not sell unless my uncle bought the whole boot.

I saw one for sale near me today, took a look at it for about 15 seconds, and wandered off again

It does look very sharp with that sticker pack on it though...

Well if anyone can find one for sale i would be very keen to know. Also does anyone know if it is the same spoiler off the ae71 spirit as i saw one today and they looked the same to me.
