Is the pcv working correctly. Sounds like the crankcase is pressurising instead of venting via pcv.
Hey there,
I have a KE30 that i put a 4K and 5spd into not that long ago but there seems to be an awful lot of blow by. After a long drive there is all oil coming out of my spark plugs and it looks like oil is being pushed out of the head and leaking all down the back of the gearbox![]()
Now I generally thought blow by was compression getting past the rings and forcing its way into the head correct?, Is there any other way to fix this rather then bite the bullet and replace rings etc..
Gimme some ideas..

trent rather than plumbing back just go for a drive with it vented to atmosphere and see if it helps.
Ok I just pulled it off then and it wouldn't idle, as soon as i put it back on it idles fine again.. There was a fair bit of black shit in there that i cleaned out..
Ideas?
