ebay? not much...
even malpassi has a bad name for unstable/creeping pressures
id stick with aeromotive or sard
Im up to the stage of organising my fuel system (EFI)
seeing as i dont have a EFI tank im running a 1.2L surge tank with facet lift pump and VL efi pump, but i cant decide what regulator to get,
Im considering just getting a malpassi and a small underhood guage,
But a ebay search i saw the "D1 spec" regulator with attached gauge for considerably cheaper than a malpassi and guage,
What are peoples thoughts on ebay fuel regs?
Cheers

quick question... re: the rrfpr.. is there any point?
as far as I can tell, it would be much more ideal to just have constant fuel pressure and let the computer deal with the increased/decreased need for fuel
Yeah but FP needs to increase with boost pressure, otherwise the boost pressure will be working against the fuel egressing from the injectors, effectively lowering the FP. RRFPRs will keep the FP constant.
marvellous! I feel edumacated.
*wanders off to order a SARD from nengun*
yeah Rising rate is for turbos,
i always thought malpassi were quite a good reguator,
Oh well ill jus get me a sard (about the same price)

depends on what you call expensive,
my ITB setup so far has only cost about 1.5K
the BDA were building for next year at work has mech injection worth 10Kish (depending on buyer)
true.
In the grand scheme of a build, it's not a lot. just another $350 thrown at the project![]()
