i cant confirm if they will fit but if you are running the gze in there and busting cv's you really should be looking at the e51 gearbox.. its buckets tougher as are the shafts.
Does anyone know if the AE92-93 axles will fit the AW11.Im talking about the n/a corolla axles mating to the C52 box which is the same box as the AW11. I know the spines will mate to the gearbox ok as they are the same and i know the outer cv's will mate to the hubs ok as they are the same cv's but im just wondering about the length of the axles, by eyeballing a corolla axle against the rear of my AW11 it looks to be a very similar length. The tulip joints on the Corolla axles are also a bit beefier so that is an added advantage as ive busted a few of the AW11 ones since the gze install.

I know that the E51 is much tougher but the problem is the cost of getting a box and axles to suit, plus mounts, the gze flywheel and a new clutch to suit. I know i could just get an E58 but then i still have to get the AW11 E51 selector shaft and bore the hole and all that to get it to work, unless get longer cables made up, and i know of the different combinations of axles that work with these boxes in the MR2, i know about swapping the selectors around as im using a C56 off a 20v at the moment and had to do the swap and bore the hole for the selector but getting someone to part with just the E51 selector shaft would be the problem
as far as i know the c52 gear ratios should be more suited for a gte...
just dont do high rev clutch dumps.
not too difficult to weld up a hybrid shaft made of fwd internal selector shaft & aw11 external selector shaft.
aw11 s/c gearboxes are actually not that hard to find - findingo ne with the shafts is the hardest part (i just sold off my spare shafts last week too)
give me around 6 months though & i might have a lsd s/c aw11 box & shafts up for sale....
