LOL, well if thats what the turbo is rated at, then the curve is exactly what you'd expect... a big kick in the pants when it decides to get going
240kw is nothing to sneeze at, but it's not so easy for a lil' motor to get the big arsed turbo spinning
now if it was for the strip with a little giggle gas

Asif you're not going to try twincharging!

I was actually hoping for your input on that topic in another thread since you seemed to have thought a lot about it.

    apologies for OT....
to be honest, with turbos like the 2510, and superchargers like the lysholm1600, there is no need to twincharge,..... UNLESS you are going for 30-50psi and still want response.. but thats a different kettle of fish altogether...
todays turbos are just getting very good, unless you want stoopid amounts of top end...

if joel is running a 12 sec quarter on his 2510, he must be close if not over 200rwkw

maybe this time of turbo would be more suitable for my ke10 if its ever completed if i give it a different housing but i cant honestly be stuffed. i want approx 160+ for daily and then for dyno day to give it a bit more boost to hit 200kw. a smaller turbo is more then. capable of this. might a bit of gas would be fun

the boost is great when it hits. its great watching passengers crap themshelves and never expect a corolla to pull so hard when least excepting it.

This is a td05h-16g on an AFM GZE (standard computer). It is a little laggy, but certainly streetable and good fun on the circuit

Unfortunatly I dont have a graph with rpm so it is harder to compare it to the other graph's posted.

And oh does it launch when it hits 5k
In 3rd gear, at what's already a stupid speed, 5000rpm comes round and you can see him struggling a little with the steering as the wheels try and break traction. Problem is, even at that speed, it takes no time at all before its on the redline.

thats an awfully big chinese turbo for a 4AGE...

    too big id say...

you would be better off going for one of the intenrally gated GT28RS copies floating around ebay...while there are bad rumours floating around they are very similar to the KKR ones in manufacturing specifications and design, and jeremy sheilds (AE86Slut) from these forums has just made 204rwkw on his CA18 powered sprinter with the sexiest power curve
