I know a chick who has a T3 off a RB20 or 25 (Cant remember) on her 4AGE, and her car doesnt spool till at LEAST 3800-4000rpm, and spools a constant 18psi until 7500-8000rpm.

    But thats crazy..

    On a 1.6L 4cyl, a T25 or a T28 would be good suited unless your insane. if your insane, try a GT35/40

    great thread
i would like to know what turbo would be best for a 7agte
i want something that spools very early and dosent run out of puff
i was thinking t25 as i am not a dyno queen and really only want 220bhp at the flywheel but i have heard it will run out of puff real early
    any suggestions
    cost not really a factor

Mate of mine has a gt30 on a 20v/gze block.
    155kw @ 16psi. That sudden increase in torque - that's at 5000rpm.

I guess the options are somewhere between the gt25 and the gt30.

I'd love to see his turbo paired with a supercharger - just to see what'd happen.

Also would it be recommended getting an oil cooler for the setup? Or wouldn't it be a problem for such a small amount of boost?
    Cheers

thats probably a good simple solution in many cases.

4000-8000 is quite a usable powerband but a gt 35/40 would be stupid unless your gonna spin the motor to 10k +

F**k me. Does that look awkward to drive or what. Would be next to useless on the street.

more like would be next to FUN on the street, wheelspin anyone?
MEGZ- yeah mate, still got the sprinter. it's out the front of my workshop with zero interior (were modifying/covering the dash etc) zero suspension (coilover's are on the way). i have the 4age ready for it, and a 4agte building in progress. it's bright blue like simons car, black bonnet. i'll get some photo's when she is all done, and i might even do a write up on the coilover conversion.
with the turbo, your best bet is a T or GT25, maybe even a wrx turbo (which can be found for cheap) i'd run an oil cooler (you can get them from the wreckers (cheap) or new for like 400)

$99 dollars is crazy cheap. might have to get one. you may have to include braided hoses though (or rubber) and fittings

you will have to unless you buy the 1jz or 2jz kits but i dont know if the sandwich plates would fit a 4age block

edit: the fittings arent all that $$$ even for braided with anodised fittings it would probably cost $300 or so but obviously rubber hose and non anodised fittings would be alot cheaper
