It was about $450 all put together. You can get it cheaper as a kit but there was no way I would be doing that.

Best piece of equipment I have bought for my car

2EO for the win. It's a brilliant meter from what i've used it for. (Just checking AFRs while driving )

Those narrowband meters are such a waste of time. I laughed when my mates autometer would jump around when he put his indicators on, lol.

Yep. It has outputs to go to an ecu for datalogging from the ecu also.

Datalogs AFR and 3 other 0-5v outputs like rpm, boost etc.

The newer ones can do thermocouples as well so you can log EGT's as well!

i honestly haven't noticed that.. but maybe the car it was in was completely rewired with household wires had something to do with it..

and yea anyone have any comment about a digital readout versus the LED ones? i know the LED ones can show u when it's going into closed loop.. and the digital ones are fairly accurate and won't jump around..

still weighing up the choices.. i just need a gauge to tell me if the car is running too rich or too lean and will cause DAMAGE TO MANIFOLD!!!!
(everyone still think a proper wideband is the way to go?)

If you really need one they are one of the best investments for your car, but if it's stock I wouldnt worry about it.
    What mods have you done?

not going for the fuel management yet.. but i had this strange feeling the intake setup and port job leaned it out somewhat.. (exhaust sounded different, rougher, and smelt dry.. ).. sometime in december i'm going to rework the suspension, and will be doing a fair bit of higher revs in the spirit of competition.. and because it has a returnless fuel system i'm a bit concerned about the level of tune in there.. granted i have the E-manage but i won't be driving with a laptop plugged in, so wouldn't hurt to actually know if it's running rich or lean...

and i'm sitting on a 100 dollar a/f meter.. with them lights and that.. but if it's inaccurate i may as well donate it and get a proper one..

Beasht, I never noticed any change with my idle speed while running the windows, & double checked it today. There's absolutely no change to the idle speed.
Are the revs increasing or decreasing?
I would guess tht the A/F meter is just changing because of the different voltage or current draw operating the windows causes, similar to the guy whos A/F meter jumps around when the indicators are on.

Hey Joel, yep same here, the actual rev's at idle don't change one bit, but you can hear the engine note dull down and get deeper.
That's what I thought aswell about the gauge differing because of the extra voltage load, but the engine noise changes alot. The engine note changes most when using more than 1 window at the same time or when the window is already all the way up or down and you keep trying to change it (as expected as there is more load).
