    Default Forum Theme

So does everyone like the forum theme and colors? Is there a possibility of having an option between themes?
I frequent a few forums that have options to change the color scheme, and personally find a dark background nicer to view for long periods of time.

    Just a suggestion.

    Thanks!
    Kind Regards,
    Kurt.

The current colour scheme compliments my red flannie and grey trackpants beautifully.

I think its fine as it is. It looks smart and you dont have annoying flashing things or horrible background colour that makes reading imposible.

Being able to choose your own colour scheme is a good idea.

Mods could limit the colours available to choose from and have the red/white (current theme) as a default?

I know that vBulletin 3.5.4 gives you that option on the bottom left hand side of the screen - maybe it's time to upgrade??

    black background FTW!!!

easy to look at for long periods of time, hence why autocad default colour is black.

at least make it an option, leave this theme as the default if need be

The first thing I do when I load AutoCAD is change the background from black to a lighter colour. Black is easy on the eyes but there are better colours. Black becomes too sharp when using red and blue lines.

The V Builten software is going to be upgraded, the go ahead has been given. There will be slight changes to the "look" of the forum however nothing radical. More along the lines of rounding the corners.
    Beige.... The new Black!!!

    black background FTL

perhaps you could just invert the colours of your monitor when you are reading toymods?

    ^ LOL..Thats a good point!

Yeah just a suggestion thats all..moreso thinking of it as an "option" for the users who do enjoy reading on a dark black background. One example of this is OCAU's default "Sabre Tooth" color scheme, which i enjoy using.
For me, reading on a white background during the day/light, is good, but when it's dark and all the you have is the monitor on, it can be very bright on your eyes.
Either way though, just a thought

I think you'll find the colour scheme we have was chosen because thats the colours of Toymods.

And you've got no chance in hell of getting the mods to put other schemes up, unless you can convince them to change the colours of Toymods.
