lack of oil is generally what cause's our 3S-GE engines to spin a bearing.
couple of ways to go about this.
you can take the crankshaft out get it machined if it needs maching (i'd say it will) and get a replacement set of bearings. (might as well do piston rings while the pistons are out of the engine)
if your going for a replacement block.....i'd try and source a gen 2 3S-GE block...they have better oil feeders, and dont tend to suffer from busted bigends.
either way i'd probably suggest sourcing another engine unless your getting this one really really cheap due to this problem
do they have the reciepts or anything from when it was rebuilt. what work was done etc.
