What happened to the Cops @ Maccas thread?

That's a crock, & taking the whole "portraying the right image of the Toymods Car Club" a bit too far.
Besides one goon that had to express his dislike for police in a pretty neanderthal way, it was light hearted & a good bit of fun. It's sad to see Toymods going this overboard with political correctness.

Toymods enjoys a healthy relationship with the boys in blue and we have every intention of keeping it that way. Funny or otherwise the thread was bad PR.

Ah, c'mon man, we're a club that enjoys modifying cars, in particular to make them go faster, whether in a straight line or round corners or both. In this day & age where police have merely become on street revenue raisers, there's naturally going to ba a little animosity towards the boys in blue, & I think this was a fairly harmless way to vent it that most people could see the funny side of.
You've got to admit it was a golden picture, how many times have we done exactly the same thing as the police in that pic? It was almost as if that pic was set up by the cops as a take off of our monthly meeting post feed.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty harmless, but you & the rest of the guys run the club fantasticaly, and if this is the decision you've made, I wont argue it (any more ).

but yea i'm impartial to this.. we have to be good as we represent a better club.. i'd really be seeing this sort of shenenigans allowed on boost cruising .. so *meh* oh well..

i also have to admit i've seen some cop related motorsport here.. there's that one where a supra defeats a cop car at the drag by a margin.. then there's that pic above of that drifting police car.. and yea i have to admit as well i've seen a few cop related "humour" at legal events.. hehehe
