What does "FTW" stand for?

As per the the title, it seems every post contains the acronym ftw.

Like "what the fúck" in reverse or something

But I still don't know what it means but always wanted to ask. I've never been real big on netspeak.

BTW (By The Way) sometimes people will throw a few other bits and pieces in there too just to make it even more confusing

OMG, i saw this thread and the read the first post and was going to post the urbandictionary link!

i highly recomend everyone sign up to their word of the day - it brings a smile to my face every evening at around 10:30-11 depending on when its sent out. ive posted a few things up there. its so fun just browsing it and looking at the whacky stuff on it.

wasnt thread with a list of every car related/car forum type acronym ever known posted a while back?? anyone got the link?
