Why are they breaking? What is breaking? What are you doing when they break? Diffs dont break with normal use unless they are faulty.

    Fixed.

Your Corona has a Borg Warner diff which isn't renowned for its strength. There are no direct bolt-in options for this car so you'll either have to fork out for a diff conversion (eg Hilux G-series) or just accept the fact that your "driving style" will require frequent diff replacements.

When I was a young lad, the clown across the road borrowed his parents' ST141. The houses were perched on a steep incline. He only did two rollbacks before it blew in spectacular fashion - he had to pay for two of my parents' windows.

Needless to say, driving his parents' car again was verboten.

Yeah it's cos somat broke inside mate.

I rallied a GT for 200000 KM over huge outback distances and rough terrain and never broke a diff just made one diff whine once about 25 years ago, so don't know what you are doing to your poor car, but suggest you will run out of diffs or money soon.
