    i've done this course.
its really quite boring. half the day is just talking about the importance of following distance, and not speeding. They dont tell you on how to improve ur technical driving. just the importance of safe following distance and keeping under the speedlimit. The practical exercises are just there for u to experience the bad effects of speeding and keeping a short following distance.

I've also done this, was still on my Ps and hadn't done any kind of fun driving day before. I enjoyed it a fair bit. I got the shortest breaking distance in my car! (they measure it from 40ks or something) There is a bit of a slalom test too IIRC.

edit: Actually, I thought there were a few vague driving tips for slaloms or cornering, like looking further ahead round the corner or something, I thought it seemed to help also, whatever it was.
