    Default 1JZ-GTE Exhuast temp circuit

What does anyone know about the JZZ30 Soarer 1Jz exhaust air temp sensor circuit?
What effect does it have on the ecu?
What i've been able to gather from the EPC is that the car uses 3 (p/n89425-29575) 2 near the trans tunel and one near the dif, none of this was included with my front cut so can anyone shed some light on it?

The sensor is just a switch, so it only knows when it's overheating (and your cat might be glowing red). To my knowledge this is only used to light up the EGW light in the dash.

It may have other engine mangement implications but I wouldn't be able to tell what they might be. A lot of Aus cars don't have it even though the JDM version does.
The switch usually comes through the floor, so with the majority of half cuts you never get it and hence is very rarely hooked up in a conversion.
