Default Movember charity BBQ + day in the park - Saturday 18th Movember

    Gents,

I'm holding a BBQ and day of fun in the park in support of Movember. This wild event will involve a BBQ, some soccer, footy, basketball, standing around chin wagging, pushbikes and whatever other fun park activities people bring.

It's going to be on next Saturday Movember 18th (yes, the day before karting) and it should be going all afternoon.

The location is the park on... wait for it... Park st in Collingwood. It's right beside Collingwood station (Melways 44 E5). There is a map below.

I'll be firing up the barby around 2pm and plan to be down there until it gets dark. There'll be salad and bread and stuff put on, so please just bring some meat and drinks. Plus any other fun park activities you can think of. Also I'm asking for a gold coin donation to the Movember causes (Mo Bros get free entry).

So come on down any time through the arvo. All friends/girlfriends/etc welcome as long as they aren't dickheads. Also conversation skills that extend beyond just cars would be appreciated.

    Hen

    PS, the brief details:
When: Saturday Mov 18th, 2pm onward
Where: Park on Park st, Collingwood 44E5
    Why: Movember
Bring: Meat, drinks and a gold coin donation

Red star marks the park and/or a secret KGB bunker
I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.

Good to hear a few people will be making it down. Everyone's welcome, and come for as long or as short as you can make it. There's plenty of parking around the park in the back streets or public transport is all around.

I just checked the Bureau of Meteorology forecast for the weekend. It's looks like Saturday might be perfect for an arvo in the park with lots of food and a few ales:
    Friday ---- Fine. - Min 8 --- Max 21
    Saturday - Fine. - Min 9 --- Max 23
    Sunday --- Fine. - Min 11 - Max 25

    Good to hear.

Mr Drake, there sure will be a bit of cricket. Including such great backyard rules as tippity, lost ball = out, "last ball of the over" means "I'll bowl 4 or 5 more".

Plus some trials bikes, footy, soccer, frisbees, maybe even totem tennis. Oh, and a BBQ and an esky.

Invite list extends to just about everyone I've ever met, their friends and family, plus anyone else who reads this on the internet. There should be a fair few people around throughout the day, but as with all things you really never know until people start turning up.

I just realised that karting starts at 10am on the Sunday... that means I have to be vertical before 10am. Do they have breathalisers at the track?
