    Default freecycle and toyota manuals

    hi,

i don't know if anyone else uses freecycle, but its a mailing list where people 'advertise' stuff they are giving away for free.

anyway recently i have noticed a lot of car manuals, and particuarly toyot car and engine manuals (at the moment there is a k series engine manual, a corona and a corolla manual).

while i dont need any of these manuals im sure they would come in handy for some people on here, and i had an idea of maybe setting up a 'manual library' for toymods members.

manuals can be donated or collected for free (from freecycle etc) and held in a library where toymods members can borrow them, that way they are available to everyone, not just one person who might only use it a fe times a year (like me).

i know a lot are available on the internet but there is nothing like having the manual right in front of you.

a small fee for postage both ways would be payable unless the manual is picked up in person.

this might be something that would also encourage people to be toymods members.

anyway i have put my name down to get these manuals and will post them on the free section here if no one thinks this manual library is a good idea.

I like the sound of that but the only downside is that the books will get pretty worn and torn in the heat of battle. Maybe they would nned to have all the pages removed and laminated and then put in a binder.

And would undoubtedly land the club in trouble for breach of copyright?

The glass is neither half empty nor half full, rather the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
