7MGE to 2JZGE Question.

Hey Peeps,

I need some help in clearing something up in regards of the conversion stated. (MX83)

I've been told that i can run a 2JZGE off the 7MGE factory ECU and harness (running a AFM).

Has anyone seen this done? The only reason i can think of people doing this is to reduce the cost of the conversion? Maybe buying a 2J with a cut loom?...

What do you guys think?

Definately been done.

No idea why you would do it, particularly given that complete 2JZGE looms and ECUs are not that hard to find.

Pretty sure there were some threads regarding this on the cressida forums (http://www.thermactor.com/forum/).
