Default 18R-C starting woes (need 18r guru)

Hey I just swapped over motors in my ra40, 18r-c to 18r-c and it has been running fine til this morning where it wouldn’t start, it has fuel and spark, both checked, it cranks fine but just won’t kick over. The motor it has now is from a ra23 since it’s the only motor I could get a hold of at short notice. Anyone got any ideas???

    Help needed quick

    Cheers Mike

the fuel pump seems fine coz it sprays into the carby and the filter and float tank are full, as well as the leads, pulled each spark plug out and the checked for spark, all came up fine.
ill try a roll start when i get home.

    cheers mike

all good now. the gap on the rotor button was to large due to ware. seems that the spark from the coil was to weak to ignite the mix, replaced rotor button and all is good.

    +rep for everyone that helped

    cheers mike
