3sgte To W58 Bellhousing Question

I AM USING THE TOYOTA CELICA 3SGTE ENGINE.

I JUST BOUGHT THE W58 GEARBOX. I REALISED THAT THE OEM BELLHOUSING WILL NOT FIT INTO THE ENGINE.

AN ANYONE PLEASE INFORM ME 1S, 2S, 4S BELLHOUSING COME FROM WHAT CARS ??

YOUR ANSWER WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. MY BOX IS LYING ON THE FLOOR WAITING FOR THE RIGHT BELLHOUSING TO COME.

2s fits but i do recall that you need to machine about 5mm of the face of it but a search will defenatly reveal any of these types of things, your other problem may be that a 2s housing puts the starter moter on the passenger side and may make it a bit hard to do your turbo manifold and dump pipe.

i havent herd of anyone useing the other types of bellhousing you mentioned but when i did my 3sgte to w58 i used a 3y bellhouseing out of early rwd hilux's or tarago vans, it puts the starter moter on the drivers side and fits great.

and as i mentioned earlier you may wnat to try the search butten here and on the old forum as you arnt the first person to try this and there is some really good right ups out there that cover most problems.
