Dude, as much as you may not see it that way, you already bought the boring commuter that you can transport friends, groceries, daily duties, etc On the plus side, it can also tow

Are you suggesting I do the grocery shopping in the Century? And risk getting shopping trolley dents in that immaculate paintwork? Mos, I'm surprised at you.

extended trading hours means you can safely take the Century to the Supermarket and park it at the far end of the carpark well away from anything that will put a ding in it.

It probably stems from the fact that I just really don't care anymore ..
Used to be like that with the IS (admittedly the uniqueness is ever so slightly different ) but ever since the first dent it's just so much easier not to care...

On a few occasions I've been forced to take the Century to the supermarket, and I've done exactly that. Well no baseball bat, but I stood guard while the GF did the shopping.

I think a V12 century constitutes a very rare care...especially in this country!

I tried taking care of mine.... but even at the last space at the end of the universe, some cockmuncher managed to either open their door on it or scratch it or spit on it or ding it in some way...

Hmm, I miss it so, I should really try to get it back on the road again... just costs so much though :s

Ive had 2 Late private import crowns , The first one I bought in 2000 before any of this 15 yo import stuff , Yes it cost well over 10 grand then ,(pity there a dead duck now)
It was as rare as yr Century is now . And i just did what you are doing now to your Century , Treating it like a baby watching where i park , not leaving it anywhere etc etc .
Its fine to treat rare cars like that but as i got older i realised it was a bit of a waste not using it very much .
Late model toyotas deterioate much worse than the older models so all the suspension bushes and other rubber components will be stuffed whether driven or stored.

    Where only cars??

I realise i'm being picky, but i assume you mean 'THEY ARE'? ie 'THEY'RE'? I had to say something as it's the worst abuse of the english language on forums and it bugs me no end, and you were emphasising, so, well... hopefully a few people learn something they didn't know and it saves a few instances.

    Carry on. Norbie, skids??!!
