Neg Rep?

So +1 for every 100 posts and another +1 for the amount of rep not sure about everyone else

I have between 100-199 Rep (+2) and between 100-199 Posts (+1), which should be +3, but I only have a rep power of +2...

what i meant was my rep (123) is from 100-199 remains at +1 and then 350 odd posts is another +3

So for you that would be 145rep which remains at +1 you start with and then your posts are 197 which is +1 and equals 2

I'm damn sure my rep power went from +1 to +2 when I hit the 100 rep mark

it'd be 3 just from rep because you start at +1 remember.

Not sure how often the admin account is used for repping though .

I'm pretty sure that Admin only steps in to knock some one down a peg or 3 for serious misbehaving

rep system is good but this is a bad point of it,

i just wasted 5 min of my time reading something pointless, which equalled to wasted bandwidth,

i got a rep power of +4, but it doesnt matter rep should be used if some one posted something useful or informative,

threads like this do not educate toymodders in learning the technical things about toyotas or car related matters,

Hi,

I think -ve rep is half of your +ve rep, fractions rounded down.

So, if you can give (say) +16 +ve rep then you can give -8 -ve rep. If you can give +17 +ve rep then you still give -8 -ve rep (as you cannot give -8.5). If your +ve rep increases by 1 to give +18 +ve rep, then you will give -9 -ve rep.

OK - In an attempt to nail this down:
My rep power = 10
rep = 468
Posts = 1126
1 Referral
1 year

I'd be guessing 1 for time, 1 for the referral, 436/100 = 4 for rep and 1126/250 = 4 for posts.

How does that sound?

You start with 1 rep (11-99 = 1, 100-199 = 2, etc), so it seems to be more like:

1 for time, 5 for rep (436), and 4 for posts (1126).

The thing with "Referrals" doesn't seem to count, up until recently I had 4 Referrals, but a rep power of 1 (I had under 100 rep at the time)...
