Yeah, while i have a LOT more rep than Rona, im not a post whore and so my rep is still only about +18/19.

Your repping power ie how much you give out not your value goes up +1 every year.

+1 per year of membership
+1 for every 100 rep
+1 for x number of posts

Actually, you recently repped me, and I think it only went up by 5, but I could be mistaken...

I also thought that the green bars underneath your Rep under your avatar were your rep power... 2 bars = Rep power of 2... 9 bars = Rep power of 9... But, lately I have noticed this doesn't seem to be true!

sometimes when you rep someone, you see their rep go up by the correct amount... but they see it go up in 2 steps.... it seems as though the whore rep, and rep power rep are perhaps added in 2 stages.

just to confuse things

so if you see your rep go up.. and then later mysteriously go up further.. that could be why

Yeah, I've noticed a few like that... It might be to do with 1 bar per 0-100... eg. Rep 0-99 = 1 green bar...Rep 100-199 = 2 green bars... Rep 400-499 = 5 green bars!

The rep system is starting to grow alot more, on another forum I am on Supramania, being a longer established forum the rep system is now a little weird, ie some people have over 12,000 rep. I have been given rep by around 5 people and have 1,200.

Some people will give out about 300+ at a time . I dare say toymods is a bit off this but it could reach this stage in 12 months time as everyones repping power increases fast.

im only on 3 bars, and my + rep is 9 i believe ? possibly 8, i will check next time
