Neg Rep?

Hey,
Can someone explain to me what the Dark Blue/Grey coloured rep comments are?
Are they Neg Reps? My Rep doesn't seem to go up or down, And they don't look like bad comments to me.

I ran a search but came up with nothing, maybe I didn't look hard enough.

Which means that helping newbies doesn't gain you any rep. So there is no real point

straight from the FAQ people.

All users start with 10 reputation and 0 rep power. Reputation is the number of reputation points you have earned, rep power is how much a reputation vote made by you changes another users reputation. Once you have 10 posts you will have a rep power of 1, at this stage if you vote for the reputaion of someone that vote will change their reputation by 1 point. Rep power grows based on reputation, time you've been a member and number of posts.

Thanks for that kirsty, So how does one find otu what their Rep Power is?

I had a look on my CP but couldn't find it and couldn't find it in the FAQ either, other then the qoute above.

Unfortunately I can't answer that
I only know when ever I actually give or take away rep and take not of how much it changes.
I know that it is a combination of how many posts you have and how many rep points you have though.

Your repping power ie how much you give out not your value goes up +1 every year.

He's referring to your rep power not your rep.

How much is your rep power?

With enough statistical evidence here we could reverse engineer the ToyMods rep power algorithm.
