New Tech Article tab...

Hey all,

I was having a bit of a think about all the people who keep asking the same questions (You all know the ones - "What engines will fit in a TA22?", "Will a 1G-GTE just slot straight in to a RA23?", etc...), and most of the questions can be answered by the old Tech Articles page (http://web.archive.org/web/200502050...g.au/tech.html), but most people don't know it exists!

Would it be a good idea to bring this into the current forum with a refresh of the cosmetics of the page, updating the articles (eg. replacing the existing 1G-GTE -> RA23 article with Stradlater's Guide), and adding a new tab accross the top for "Frequently Asked Tech" or something similar...

We could also ad the Repository while were at it as well for all the wiring diagrams and such... http://www.toymods.net/TechDocs/ or http://web.archive.org/web/200503071...au/Repository/

Anyway, that's just a suggestion for people to have a think about!

Im pretty sure that was all on the way, but it just hasnt had time to be done yet. Remember there are currently issues with the website anyway as all the top links still point to the forum.

Good idea nonetheless.

Now that the "Tabs" accross the top are working properly again, and with other people asking for new "Tabs" (http://www.toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=15093), maybe it would be worth the time spent if it was a couple of new "Tabs" rather than just one...

Hi,

This is a topic which has been discussed at the Board meetings, and is something that will be actioned. It is a good idea. We are currently under the gun with ToyotaFest and still ironing out some issues with the new forum software. When the pressure is off we will turn our attention back to this.
