Mine didn't either when I dismantled it.
Been running 3000 kms so far with no issues.
Hi Guys, i've been told that on 2JZ-GTE engines that on one of the turbo oil feeds has a restrictor in the bolt. If this is removed or swapped around front to rear it will casue bearing failure in the turbo.
I dont know which turbo is meant to have the restrictor and both the bolts on my 2JZ engine don't seem to have a restrictor in the bolt.
Can anyone help?
Cheers

Thanks Joorsh.
I've spoken to a few friends that have 1JZs and theres didn't have restrictors either.
Anyone else?
Just be careful comparing 1J & 2J turbo setups. They are quite different.
Fair comment.
I have since heard that the restrictor was only used in the earlier version 2JZs.
Aparently this was due to the front turbo being closer to the oil pump therefore getting more oil pressure.
