I read somewhere about using nissan 300zx hubs to get 5 stud hubs on the front.
Ask Cruzida. He seems to have tried lots of options re Hubs and brakes.
All my research is limited to xA6x, xX7x, xZ1x struts.

PMP020 seems to have found a good conversion for a KE20 , this may be applicable

The standard ones are 280mm diameter, 22mm thick and are ventilated and I’m pretty sure the callipers are 4spottersOriginally Posted by cuzzo
I'm using R32 280mm and 4 piston calipers (z32/R32 are the same). People do this as an upgrade on a 180 as well. I too have to match / exceed an s13 as i'm using CA18DET, but they only came with 250mm.
AFAIK they don't run a 4 piston caliper though. Mate with one changed his so that he had them i think.

Well the setup i linked to only has 268mm discs and i think not as thick, so it wouldnt be bigger than the 180sx.
Looks like custom caliper mount for you. Best of asking a brake place which huge upgrade they could design for you. Or if you wanted, design and get custom fabricated your caliper mount. Just need to find a disc which will fit on the stub axel.
I would probably still recommend a different strut with a larger stub axel and bearings.
Will it be a street/track car? Drag car? Cause with the bigger brakes you go the heavier and more unsprung weight.(= slightly less handling)
Keep in mind cuzzo that hilux calipers probably weigh double what your typical alloy 4 pot weighs![]()

Also, could be worth contacting an engineer. While matching the donor car is a good rule of thumb, considering the ke30 is lighter, 267mm should be more than enough.Originally Posted by cuzzo

Yeah that’s what I’m going to have to do. The engineer will shed some light on what I can use and what not. About the fabrication for the calliper mounts that’s not a problem for me as I can do that stuff at work so if anyone has some more ideas that need custom fabrication I’m all ears
Well if you can find a strut and disc combo, go fkn nuts on a light good quality caliper and you will be laughing.
You could still go the corona and puegout setup and put a good caliper on the bracket you make without the machining. Then you will have a 270mm disc vented/slotted.
