    Default URGENT: Diff oil seal

    Hey guys,
I need to get my diff (S series TA22) back together TODAY
and i cant get the old oil seals(axels) out
i should be able to press them out with a screwdriver right?
i dont want to push to hard cause im worried i might hurt it,
they should just pop out with abit of force?

    cheers

either a puller, or two screwdrivers on opposite sides.... or very slowly work it out by moving the screwdriver around the whole circumference..

they might be in there fairly firmly.

I use a hammer with the nail puller end on it.. Works a treat.

I use a hammer like the one below.. It works best if you leave the ribbon/bow on it.

I get the forked bit behind the seal, so lets say put it on the left hand side of the seal when looking face onto it. Then push the hammer over to the right so it pivots on the right hand side of the end of the diff/axle tube.. Should just pull it out, if not work around it from left to right.
