really, its quite simple, theres no magic about it!

just make sure you have the right diagrams and the rest is a breeze (at least the wiring side of things ehehehe )

Feeling bit more confident now I'll give it a shot

Anything else I should be aware of with doing this conversion? I am trying to make it the easiest and less problematic conversion by asking all the questions first before doing it. Hope I'm not being a pain...

its 7M > 7MGTE, AFAIK the only extrnal differences between them is the turbo gear, the GTE has a karmann vortex AFM as opposed to the 7MGE's flap type, and the 7MGE runs a dizzy, the 7MGTE runs coilpacks.

im sure there are more "behind the scenes" differences, but these are the ones that stick out.

the guy that imported my halfcut just got in a TOMS built MZ20 manual soarer hint hint!

I'm probably the idiot you're thinking of who tried to run the 1JZ on LPG.

    How did it go?

I know it sounds stupid, but I am curious on how it ran on LPG

Eldar, thanks for all your advice and talks, much appreciated. And to everyone who took the time to reply, thank you! Nice to know that there are people out there who care enough to help people in need

Thanks for the link. I visited the site a few days ago and read the write up. The wiring is the big job!

The search is on for the JZX81. Varied responses from different people. Some laughed at me, some wished me luck, some tried to rip me off (without even having the half cut in stock or knowing when they can get it)
