Default what fuse box to use?

    howdy ya'll
i need to put a small fuse/relay box in the boot of my car for some various things. im thinking bout going down to u pull it and getting a fuse box outta some car down there.

before i go down there, are there any recommended cars/models of car that i should go straight too?

it doesnt have to be a big box, enough to hold 3 relays and half a dozen fuses..

    comments and suggestions welcome
    cheers

2mm sheet aluminum, and a Narva 4,6 or 8 blade fuse holder.

Yeah im using a narva 6 and 4 blade holder. However all the ones ive seen stocked around my area have multiple IN and multiple OUT for power instead of single IN.

You can get singles however but special order. Most of the ones ive seen in other cars from the wreckers is that they only take some blades and for bigger ratings have fusable links.

American autos sell these for $8.25 inc gst. They are from "painless wiring".

They also have these for $5.95 inc gst. Also from "painless wiring"

i used early laser, and some falcoons for fuses..

i think it was VL or VN commonwhore that has nice relay bases... except one of the wires is swapped around between them and normal relays (ie, change the fat wires around)

wander round a pick-a-part.. pleanty to choose from

oh, one of the suzuki swifts has nice holder for the heavy duty fuses too...
