garrett GT35r
A larger Holset HX, or Garret GT.
Just learn the basic math behind choosing a turbo & go at it.
For 600 - 700 atw a HKS T51 R .
Or garett GT4088R

a gt35r will not make that sort of power! go with a gt42r
Yeh i'll go with millsi, gt42r. I'm putting a garrett TO4Z on mine and i aint expecting any more than 550rwhp.
1990 SW20 MR2 turbo Gen III 3S-GTE conversion, 3" exhaust = 264.9rwhp
1985 JZA61 2JZ-GTE + TO4Z = 442.1rwhp @ 18psi
1991 JZA70 Limited 2JZ-GTE vvti GTX30/76r
1994 GZX90 Mark II 1GZ-FE V12
1980 MA45 Undergoing Restoration
Youll have to choose you turbine housing carefully when you go for such a big turbo. T51rs and GT42s are VERY big turbos, even for a 2JZ. Both are capable are more than 600rwhp but if you go nuts without planning things properly youll find yourself in lag central.
I suggest giving my mate Brad from Boosted Xtremes a call/email. He has built some very big power Supras before, has a shitload of knowledge in choosing correct turbo specs and can also get his hands on almost any turbo for a very nice price. As long as your not a complete tyre kicker is usually willing to give very helpful advice.

I used to eat alot of natural foods. That was until I learned that most people died of natural causes.
I'm going the GT35/40 (now GT35r), and I don't expect a peak of more than 400rwkw... everyday power closer to 350.. so definitely go a bigger turbo than that
the boosted extremes site isnt loading up. Im trying not to waste to many peoples time so id reather select it myself without any help. Im a mechanic by trade but selecting thing like this is adifferent area for me. Id like websites that i can do all the research myself.
Thanks for the help guys but 42s and 51s are just not in my ball park.

dude, if a GT42 is out of your price range how do you plan to afford the more expensive bits of the conversion?
Go to www.forcedinductions.com and you'll find a grea deal of selection info there. It'll teach you how to choose one. One you've done that, pick a vendor here in OZ.
For that sort of power you probably will need a GT42/T51 sized snail, but with a smaller turbine housing to minimise lag.

I would suggest KKR being they're a great price, but I don't think they have a flange to suit...

Nor are they big enough to get anywhere near the power wanted.Originally Posted by twentyEight
PS if you can't afford the turbo, you won't have the cash for ecu, injectors, driveline to back it up etc etc.
Start saving now, because to make that power you need alot more then just the turbo.
PS I wouldn't expect change from $10-15k
If in doubt power out
at least!
big fuckoff clutch, ECU, EBC, external wastegate, intercooler + piping, manifold, dump pipe, injectors, air filter + piping (boxed if you want it legal)... going for that much power, cams are going to be a pretty good idea too
and of course the turbo
and tuning, which I can garantee you will NOT be cheap
