    Default Ra23 -> Ra28 - Interchangeable Parts

    Hey guys,

    I'm thinking of purchasing an RA23 with alot of good stuff for my RA28, but I just want to make dead sure of a couple of things!

    a) The bonnet, guards, and doors are interchangeable (all except the glass).

    b) The front and rear suspension are interchangeable.

    c) The rear bars are not interchangeable.

    These are probably quite stupid questions to some of you, but I just want to be sure! (To be sure, to be sure)

    EDIT: I know that "Search" is my friend, and have found info pointing towards all this, but making a large purchase purely for parts is kinda nerve wrecking!

    they basically have the same engine bay, as in up to the windscreen....
    They both ahve a t-series rear diff but i'm not sure if they're exactly the same. The axles might be different.

    ra23/28 axles are exactly the same.

    ive swapped them into my 28 after some touge action (note: it was my 1st touge 0 )

    as stated up to front winscreens all is the same.

    different parts in a nutshell are rear glasses and sides / rear bars panels / fuel tanks (der) / rear seats.

    Thanks for that TA-022... I'm sure that info will come in handy!

    doors are interchangable. glass window on the doors are more curved at the top on the 28's. But the window mechanisms are still interchangable. The drivers window regulator is always prone to failure.

    ta22 had d & t series diffs.

    ra23/28 had only t series.

    TA23 has 2t T50 and t diff - RA23 has 18r W50 and t diff.

    RA25GT has the f diff and p51 gbox 18RG
