7MGTE wiring

Hi all... just a quicky..

does anyone know if a 7MGTE wiring loom is the same for Auto and Manual ECU's??

I wanna wire in a HKS FCD..
its coming out of a manual and into my car which is currently running a auto ecu.. (even tho its a manual gbox)
would it just be a matter of matching up what wire is connected to which wire.. or am i going to hit complications?...

unfortunatly we don't have install instructions for the HKS FCD...

Wiring wise they should be the same for what you're after.

First thing damo, which gen of 7MGTE is it? gen 1 or gen 2? Gen 2 i think has a yellow screw near the Throttle body somewhere.. The ECU pins are different for both gen's.

T6 is gen 1 7M pins, T7 is gen 2 7M pins

You should be able to put two and two together with this info.

i.e. Red Wire to power, black wire to ground, splice airflow signal wire from ECU and solder the yellow wire to the ECU harness and white wire to the other end that you just cut, then green wire to RPM signal. simple eh!
