Hi,
I uploaded the P51 gearbox manual today, but really, other than being something of interest, there are so few about that it's usefulness is of limited value - except to the very few who own such a box.
However, I do have the W50 and T50 repair information, but I am not sure if these would interest many people. It takes some time to scan, crop and upload the images - so I'll only do it if people really want it.
Anyway, I thought the T & F series diff repair information, including the LSD, would be of more benefit and appeal to a wider audience.
For those worried about copyright - this is less than 10% of the original text. Furthermore, I'll be contacting Toyota/Publishers to see if they have any concerns and will allow more content to be put onto the forums - specifically as most of my stuff relates to older generation equipment.
Therefore, with no further ado, please feast upon the following information.
There's 29 images, so it's going to go over three posts (due to the "10-images per thread" limit of the forums).

Hi,
Toyota Carina & Celica Repair Manual - Chassis (No. 98143). It's a green book that covers the following:-
- Clutch
- Transmission
- Propeller Shaft (which is their way of saying "tail shaft")
- Rear Axle
- Rear Suspension
- Front Suspension
- Steering System
- Brakes
It's part of a series, where the other books cover the body panels, interior fittings, electrical systems, and the engines.
The books were pritned in 1977, in England.

Very handy info for when I pull down my T-Series! +rep
If you do have the T50 info, I'd definitely use it, and I'm pretty sure most people who have one with crunchy synchros of whining bearings (like mine) would too!

Hi,
Sorry sunshine, I don't have that info. All my data is strictly old school Celica/Carina stuff.
Matter of fact, it's been a while since I've delighted the forums with some old techo stuff, so I think I might see if I can get my entire 2T-G rebuild info onto the forums. That means i don't have to worry anymore about posting it out (on CD) to people who want it.
Then do the 18R-G rebuild info.

River,
When buying one of these manuals for an RA28/23 do you look for the part no 98143 only , or do you have to match up the year as well?
I ask because I have seen these for sale No 98143 but printed in printed 1975.
Great stuff. Couple of pages seem to have gone missing though 4-23 and 4-24
Cheers

Hey River that info has been a great help.
You wouldnt know what the part number is for the clutch discs in the lsd?
Im rebulding mine now and and the teeth on the clutch disc that engage the side gear have sheered off.
Cheers
