Im doing the same conversion at the moment and its not worth it. Wait and find a jdm ke70 front end, looks so much better and bolts straight on. I got 148 mm as the diameter.

Why do you say that??? Is it just a bitch to make up brackets and get the aim right???

Im using the brackets from the ta22 and its really hard to get them to aim up properly, plus you lose the parking lights as they are attached to the square head light surround.this is what ive done so far its shocking but im going to try and fix it up tomorrow.

    Thats a fair effort dude.

The parkers wouldnt be that hard to get back. They only need one screw hold them in. So mabe just some little brackets coming off the ta22 headlight brackets. Or isn't there enough room for them??

    1. There's no point arguing with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

There would be plenty of room if you use the ta22 grille like i did in the pic.
Im using the ke70 grille but ive cut it a bit.My car isnt going to be on the road again so im not to worried about the parkers being there. Mine are only held in by zip ties at the moment but im goin to bolt them in tomorrow maybe if i have the motivation to get out of bed before 10am.

I went out today to do some more work on them and to get them to mount and line up properly i need to cut some little bits of the radiator support panel and i dont want to do that so im going to put my square lights back on and wait for a jdm twin setup to come by.

But by all means go for it. I wish you the best of luck with the conversion.
