Hi,How do I identify the XT130? Can anyone tell me the part number of the XT130 Struts, the ones I have just picked up have XT T34048006 on the springs, while one strut has toyota 06110 and the other strut has toyota 17120.
or is there another way to tell which one I was given?

    This suck,
Just measured my Rt132 setup (which came out of the hatch looked like an Rt132) and found 32mm!! It to had the twin spot calipers like the picture, there must be two different types or the recycler swapping these out before we remove them.
Just looking at the ln106 caliper and they have fins on the front edge, Question "can these fins be shaved by 4mm for Clearance.
Will need to keep looking, has anyone else located a spare set of hubs?

Yes I have seen the fins shaved, they are like that on my bf's RA28.. dont ask me how far they were shaved as the previous owner shaved them.... just be cautious when you do it, as its probably not recommended

could somebody please tell me the length of the alloy sleeve that comes with the wholsesale suspension coilover kit??? just wanted to know as i am thinkin of buyin a kit in the future, but am currently shortening rt132 struts at the moment and was wonderin where i should cut and weld the ring so i can just cut the lower spring seat off in the future and slide the sleeve over.

naturally, +rep will go to the giver of said measurement

i always cut and weld struts within 40mm of the top, that way if you get too much penetration while welding you can get to it with a diegrinder or file.

the koni coilover sleeves (that wholesale sell) are 120mm long and are steel, they are designed to be welded on and i wouldn't just slide them over a strut for 2 reasons, 1 they may end up being a prick to adjust and 2 they WILL rattle like all ph#ck.

    cheers

oh, one more.....what do you think is better? using the alloy tube and having an interference fit like you did
or using a stainless steel tube and weleding it direct to the tube?

    cheers, blake
as above, i thought the wholesale ones were alloy sleeves?!?!?!?

Hey fellas just a question on price, I have got Rt132 struts, T3 kit ( springs, tops, 275lbers, 8 ' springs etc) HQ discs and Hilux (callipers) stuff all delivered to my door just under a 1000 bucks.

This included delivery of T3 stuff from US, thought this was great - i may be wrong but - if anyone is interested in contact details or more calipers ( ln130 - 106 / xt130 or RT132 struts / T3 kits) i may be able to help.

    Sweet write up too Takai.

    Cheers Rosie.

Ok heres a hairy one. Im looking at converting a RA60 to 1UZ V8. How do I work out what spring rates to select? The car currently has a 1ggte in it with heavy inserts, but it isnt the best handling unit.
    Thanks
    Andrew

you're running hq discs on rt132 struts with hilux calipers?

    vented or solid rotors?
    what model hilux caliper?
I know the bearings are the same, any other mods required?
