blank struts? You only need the rear cover and the strut tower. No discs or calipers so should be alot cheaper than that. Where from? pick n Payless?

RAd28 was hunting around some wreckers the other day for me, as I need some hubs, he could only find 1 wreckers that had any 'ronas, they wanted $22 PER HUB! This was at zillmere or something, so we decided we would wait till Wacol or Oxley got a corona in and get it cheaper. I dont really wanna be paying $44 just for hubs [/end rant]

A month or so ago I was at Park Ridge Wreckers on Station Road at Loganlea, they had 3-4 130 series coronas there, they only wanted around $50 for a pair of struts including them pulling em out... So I'd imagine the hubs would be cheaper... If you call em, don't expect them to be any help over the phone though.. also make sure they double check they actually have a corona still in the yard!

I believe somebody on another thread mentioned that the MX83 MCs are the same as the MA/GA70 MCs... Which is good, but I haven't seen any MX83s at any wreckers I've been to, but by the sounds of it, you have...

Yeah im using a MX83 MC, the only thing you have to alter is the pipe that goes in the r/h side of a RA23 MC and bent it to suit the l/h side of the MX83 MC.

So can you guys confirm what you're saying above, on the MX83 MC, the line to the rear brakes goes into the middle on the same side as the engine?

    hubs only means

    remove caliper
    remove caliper mount
    remove hub & disc
    remove disc from hub
    repeat for other side.

your paying for time not parts.

i can pull struts out in 5 mins .... breaking them down is longer.
