    Default C-Series FWD Gearbox ID

Ok, so we did Gavatrons clutch on the weekend, all of which went smoothly. But the box was somewhat of an oddity.
Im pretty sure i know what it is, but i just want to confirm with others.
The inner CV joints split apart like RWD halfshafts, with a flange on either end. Also the box seemed to be deeper around the diff to the other C-series boxes ive seen.
Im sure that the engine is lifted from another AE82 as there are the telltale yellow POSCA marks on different parts. The question is what the gearbox is....

Here is the gearbox we pulled from Gavatrons car:

Second photo is pretty crap because i was photographing upside down.
Here is my old C52 for comparison:

Not so sure about that. It had to go through a Regency ID inspection when I brought it over from Melbourne. IIRC the engine number on the ID tag matched the number on the motor. Can't find the paper at the moment. Will have to have a look tomorrow. Where's the ID number on the block?

The gearbox does have that pink texta number 15 on it. God knows what that means though. It also had a serial number on it. It is 80401305 if that helps anyone.

Engine number is back of the engine, exhaust side, runs vertically on the block. Probably right under the clutch slave.
