Be careful what you say, there's a few toymodders around that would happily attempt to "fill your hole". Particularily after a few Christmas beverages.

Unfortunately we have already rented a beach house for a weekend away with with friends that weekend. I have been keeping an eye on the events section for when the dinner is on but unfortunately that weekend went out early.

I'm definitly up for another gathering sometime and will be at summernats and hopefully Dyno day, although I am not sure what date that is going to be on. I fly out on the 10th so it's unlikely I guess.

If there is a club meeting in December, I'll be there otherwise I'll put up a post to do a dinner somewhere and catch up with all.

for those just itching to know were, we're going... it's a 'little' place on Crown Street in the city, that I'm trying to organise. I should be able to have it confirmed today, so will post up, tonight or tomorrow

Dude thats wrong man....hahah. I really ment to fill my stomach!

What about a place called Unas Cafe. There is one at Broadway near the UTS towerbuilding or one which is down the road from St Vincents hosptial in Darlinghurst.

    http://www.unas.com.au/

They sell traditional dutch food which is very very filling and tastes very nice! All mains are under $20 and the service there is great. Bookings can be made only at the Broadway place, plus its prolly the better of the two as the broadway shopping centre will be good for parking.

Either that there is a mad mexican joint in Crows Nest called Borderland Mexican Resturant. That place is great too with good food and cheap prices.

Yes, yes I was, it was a cowardly attack carried out while my back was turned (well, it sort of had to be ) and I was distracted helping another Toymodder carry out repairs on their car. He didn't even have the common courtesy to give a reach around!!!
I now have a phobia of soarers & their engine bays, and apparently there's photographic evidence to prove it!

Cowardly attack?? You asked so nicely... and said no-one would find out. And despite the dozen people in the garage, some armed with cameras, I believed you.

Yeah, and as for the lack of reach-around, that was a bit low.

Anyway, now that I've put everyone off their Christmas dinner, I should quit derailing this thread.
