18RGEU after market Temp gauge

Am I stupid or what.?
I bought an aftermarket temp gauge for the 18RGEU project, looks around the head and can't see any good spots other than the standard temp sender unit. The aftermarket gauge seemed too long to fit in.
Has anyone else had similar problems
Has anyone else got a fix?

The RA28 gauges are gettin old and I am not sure if I trust them. An aftermarket gauge is just extra insurance.

These old gauges are fine, as there's not much too them or the sender to go wrong.

So, I assume you've bought a new after market speedo, tacho and oil pressure gauge?

Yeah, i understand your desire for a new gauge in the dash Normo. But the sender on the engine should still be ok. Even if it's not for some reason, they ar a standard size, so new ones from super-crap or the like should work ok.
