What were the options in the yellow pages?
Gday Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of the best way to repair the bumpers on my RA28. There not in real bad shape just a little twisted and need cleaning up and a recrome. I'm in Perth so if there is any particulare place that someone knows is good can you please let me know. I have given it a go myself but it still dosn't seem right.
Cheers![]()

I have looked at the yellow pages and much of it is just your standard panel beater stuff. I just thought some one might know who to go to, before I contine calling round.
In Yellow Pages, look for a company that supplies body panels to panel shops. We have a guy here in Canberra that supplies bootlids, bonnets, guards, and bumpers to the panel shops. He gets the steel bumpers re pressed and re chromed.
cherrs Chuck.

Well Takai, not quite !!!![]()
The business name was "Fallshaw's Body Supplies" used to be in Quenbeyan, many long times ago.
The parent company in Sydney was taken over by the "Sydney Everlast" totally and distinctly different to the Everlast guys in Kembla street. Long story short, I would not ever use these guys in Kembla street.
The man you want to see is Bob, at the other Everlast, he is located out the back of "Gasweld" on Gladstone street in Fyshwick. You will know the place when you get there, big chainwire fence, and a yard strewn with moderrn plastic bumpers all waiting to go to Sydney for repair. Can not find his phone number at the moment, will get round to it.
Here is Bob's phone no: 0412 968 655, tell him I sent you.
List of cars that have had bumpers on, supplied by "Bob"
Gumby's white RA23,
Mitch's Tweety TA22,
Adams purple TA22,
Chucks Yellow TA22,
Chuck's Blue RA23,
Simon H's maroon TA22, and
Sam's Yellow TA22.
cheers Chuck.

Harkrome in melbourne do bumper reconditioning
Fattony... have you had any good/bad experience with them? Do they do decent repairs as well as chroming, or do you have to take them a straight bar?
Cheers,
Timbo
Sorry i was lucky enough to find a decent set of bars, but they come recomended to me. There was a place called the bumper bar repair centre, who did the bars that i managed to get a hold of, they were decent. Might be worth trying to track them down
thanks bro
