4Cyl tacho for MS123 crown??

does any1 know of a 4 cylinder tacho that will fit straight into my instrument cluster of my 84 Crown MS123??

After installing the 1UZ i need a 4cyl instead of a 6cyl but would like to keep the dash standard looking.

In Japan, they came out with a 3Y (YS120) but I suspect it was some absolute spartan pleb model that never got a tacho.

Couldn't you just get the tacho recalibrated or did you sus this out? Who did Peewee use?

take the cluster to an instrument shop and theyll modify it for you....

try fitting an RA40 tacho unit.

they are identical to the MX62 (6cyl) tacho unit. MX62 is about the same era as MS123 so the clusters should be the same. take a photo of your tacho module and ill get a photo of mine.

i BOLTED a MX62 tacho module into my RA40 cluster.

i think later model RA40's have a potentiometer as well so you might even be able to dial enough for a 8cyl

if MS123 = MX62 then RA40 = MS123
