Default Solvent resistant paints (for inside fuel tank)

I have been playing with a fuel tank (new hole for fuel pump and new fuel pump bracket) and so now have a few bits of bare steel showing. I want to paint these to prevent any rusting but am not sure what to use.

So firstly, do I need to paint the parts that will be inside the tank? I assume yes as there could well be condensation in there, plus they are plated from factory so there must be a reason for this.

Secondly what should I use. Paint places have told me two-pack is the only thing that will cope with sitting in petrol, however I would much prefer to use something straight out of a spray can (meaning I don't have to borrow a spray gun and compressor and buy a full litre of paint, I will need SFA paint).

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks
    Hen

POR15 make a few things for this application, just a quick search of their website turned up this

    http://www.por15.com/PRODUCTS/FUELSY...2/Default.aspx

They also make a kit that creates a hard coating on the inside of the tank, for sealing tanks that are rusting out with pinhole leaks etc but i cant find it

    Edit: Just found this:

    http://www.ppc.au.com/coatings_sealer.htm

I think its the same just from an aussie company
