Default AE101 ZE brake upgrade to AE92/AE93 - rotor reduction amount?

    Hi Guys,
I am just about to fit ae101 4agze twin piston front calipers and larger rotors to my ae93 sx. The larger rotors will need to be shaved down a little to allow the calipers to bolt up to the existing hub mounts.

Does anyone know the final diameter that the ae101 rotors should be reduced to, that allow calipers to bolt on to ae92/93?

Have other ppl got around this without reducing the rotor size? i.e. somehow extending the mount point for the calipers.

    Cheers

I'd actually take it down to 260mm.

I've had 3 sets done to 260mm now, one set was a little bigger and the edge of the disc was on contact with the caliper, so had to get the disc machined down again.

I went for 263mm and have no issues (and less than a mm clearance) But then i tend to chase every last 1%, just cause it bugs me when i know its there and i haven't got every last bit.

You really should be fine with 262, if it needs to be right 1st time drop a mm or 2, but 1mm is a bit in terms of rotating clearance.
