7mgte wiring diagram similiar to 1ggte?

hi guys,
well ive got a workshop manual for a 1990 US spec GA70 supra. Which i thought had the 1ggte in it but the manual says it is for a 7mge - 7mgte.
And was wondering how much difference their would be between the wiring diagrams of the 7m and 1g. as i am putting a 1ggte into my 85 hilux and need a decent wiring diagram for the auto electrician to use. would this help at all?

ignition will be quite different - 1ggte uses a dizzi and one coil whereas the 7mgte uses 3 waste-spark coil-packs and a more complex igniter.

probably safer to get the correct engine wiring diagram

There's a few engine wiring diagrams for 1G's around - i have a few but am unsure of which gen ECU is it. PM me if you want PDFs emailed to you.

edit: why go to a sparkie to do this? if you can read the diagram then you're well on your wy to doing the wiring yourself.

after doing my conversion (pretty simle compared to what your going up against) none of it made any sense until i sat down and looked at the diagrams properly, and it all worked out in my head.

DIY = best.

for 300 plus postage i can mod yr loom and all u will have left is one plug with few wires for yr auto elect to install everythng labelled and i can supply drawing too

i have a 1ggte loom here already modified but would need photos of your ecu plugs on the loom to see if its same
