cv's........ you win some, you loose some.
doing it the workshop way, there is no chance of damaging the outer cv (from belting the shit out of it, trying to get it off the shaft (tho sometimes they can just pop off))
price up a cv and boot kit,
price up a complete shaft complete with cv's.
weigh up time vs money.
either way, its an easy job.
ive removed outer cv's before and replaced boots, but usually i replace the cv at the same time.
