help needed manifold gaskets? type and were to get

im looking for a multi-shim type manifold gasket gor a 1ggte

anyone know if there is anyone in aus who makes multilayer gaskets

or failing that where can i get std 1ggte ones

you can get a 1g gasket kit, which comes with every gasket copper washer o ring for the whole motor from toyota, from memery they were about $450, delivered too your door, very worthy i wouldnt build another motor without one, even comes with new o rings ect for the injectors.

you can get a triple layer metal head gasket from performance wholesales in brisbane too

if the ex manifold (this is for a exhaust manifold?) and head faces are both true, then Copper Maxx will do fine for the gasket.

coppermax?? ..... is that a gasket sealer?

i think i will need a gasket of some sort as im using a stainless tube manifold not the std cast one so the face is not going to be absolutly perfect

yea a silastic gasket. Loctite Copper Maxx is all i use on my head to turbo manifold, manifold to turbo, turbo to dump pipe and exhaust flanges.

dont know what happened there..... it all jammed up!! and my reply got posted over and over

if i get stuck ill give it a go i have used similar stuff b4 on turbos but was never sure how reliable it would be long term
